Hey everyone! I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving and is having a great Tuesday! Today is Top Ten Tuesday, hosted by The Broke and the Bookish and the theme is Winter TBR’s. I am expanding that a little bit by including books that I want to read after winter as well, since I most likely won’t get all of them read before winter is over, as school is taking up all of my time. Anyways, here we go!
1. Renegades by Marissa Meyer
This is kind of cheating because I already started this, but I’m only on chapter 4 ish. I was suuuppperrr excited to read this, but I keep seeing reviews on Goodreads that are not too great. Hopefully it will still have some redeeming qualities!
2. The Knowing by Sharon Cameron
I really enjoyed the first book, The Forgetting, and I have it sitting at home from the library!
3. Walk on Earth a Stranger by Rae Carson
I absolutely love the titles in this series, and I finally picked up the first book from the library. I hope the book is as lovely as the title!
4. An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir
I bought this book several years ago, and have not read it. I am determined to get to it soon, though.
5. The Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
I also got this one over a year ago, and I have heard mixed reviews. It has been recommended by many people, but I’ve also seen people who don’t care for it as much.
6. Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
One of my friends really likes this series, and I own the first book. Plus, more are being written, so that is exciting!
7. The Diabolic by S.J. Kincaid
Haha I also own this one, but have yet to read it. (Must be a theme…) And the second one came out not too long ago, so I’ve got to catch up!
8. The Thousandth Floor by Katharine McGee
Ok, I bought this solely based on the cover because BUILDINGS!!! And it sounds interesting too…
9. These Broken Stars By Amie Kaufman
I love Illuminae and this one sounds like a neat sci-fi romance type thing, so I look forward to it!
10. The rest of Rick Riordan’s new(ish) books
I’m a bit behind on his stuff, like I’ve only read the first Magnus Chase book and the first Trials of Apollo book. I hope to catch up on both series before he writes any new ones!
It’s like owning a book automatically moves it to my read-later list! The books that I don’t own are always more appealing!! Lol

Yes!! It’s like you know you can always read a book you own later since you can get it any time, but something you don’t own is harder to get!

Lovely list! I just finished Red Queen. I was so torn with it and not sure if I will move on to book 2. 😐

I adore the Gold Seer trilogy. The covers are beautiful, the characters are compelling, the plot is exciting and fun, they’re clean, etc. etc. I hope you enjoy the series! I also need to get to RENEGADES. I bought it already, just haven’t had a chance to open it yet. I hope we both love it!
Happy TTT!
