Top 10 Most Anticipated 2018 Releases

Hey everyone! Today is the LAST Tuesday of 2017, and the Top Ten Tuesday prompt is Books I’m Looking Forward to in 2018, hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. I’m going to list new 2018 releases, as I haven’t had a chance to talk about any yet! There are a lot that I am excited about, but I’ve just got ten for today. I have listed them in order of when they are being released, and I hope you can find some new books to eagerly anticipate with me!

Also, I got a new header and a cute little signature for the bottom of my posts!! And the Top Ten Tuesday banner is matching! I’ve been changing some things, making upgrades, hopefully making Blue Binding wonderful!

1. Unearthed by Amie Kaufman

Release Date: January 9, 2018

I love Amie Kaufman’s Illuminae, and her books have become automatic reads for me. Plus, it’s sci-fi, which is always great!

2. Wires and Nerve Vol. 2: Gone Rogue by Marissa Meyer

Release Date: January 30, 2018

I really enjoyed Marissa Meyer’s first graphic novel, which continues the Lunar Chronicles series. It was one of the first graphic novels that I have ever read, and it encouraged me to read other graphic novels. So, I’m really excited to see how Iko’s story continues in this one!

3. American Panda by Gloria Chao

Release Date: February 6, 2018

This just seems super cute, and the summary really reminded me of When Dimple Met Rishi, which was probably one of the best books I’ve read this year. It was just wonderfully adorable, and I hope this one will be just as good!

4. Nexus by Scott Westerfeld

Release Date: February 13, 2018

I still haven’t entirely decided how I feel about Zeroes and Swarm (the first two books), but they were overall pretty good. There both positive and negative aspects, so I’m eager to see how this one is.

5. Genesis by Brendan Reichs

Release Date: March 6, 2018

This is the sequel to Nemesis, which I read toward the beginning of the year. It was interesting… It took some strange turns, but hopefully this one will provide some answers!

6. Obsidio by Amie Kaufman

Release Date: March 13, 2018

Sequel to Illuminae and Gemina. Most amazing books ever. Enough said.

7. Defy the Worlds by Claudia Gray

Release Date: April 3, 2018

Defy the Stars ended up being pretty good, and I’ve enjoyed all of Gray’s works that I have read, so this should be a good one!

8. Shadow Call by Adrianne Strickland

Release Date: April 17, 2018

I LOVED Shadow Run. It was a fast paced sci-fi novel that I thoroughly enjoyed, and I can’t wait for the next installment!

9. From Twinkle, With Love by Sandhya Menon

Release Date: June 5, 2018

Menon’s When Dimple Met Rishi was full of adorable, lovable characters, and I hope this one has the same light, fun feel!

10. A Thousand Perfect Notes by C.G. Drews

Release Date: June 7, 2018

This is a debut by a fellow book blogger whose posts I have come to adore. I’m extremely excited to read her book, and I hope some of her lovely personality will shine through! You should check out her blog!
