Top 10 Books I Need to Re-read

Happy Tuesday, friends! Today the prompt is Books I could Re-read Forever, hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl. I have to say I’ve not reread many books. I would like to get into rereading though, so I’m utilising this prompt to share some of the books I would like to reread sometime (hopefully) soon. It seems the more I read, the more I forget about the books I read a long time ago, and forgetting about books is just sad!! So, here are ten of the books I aim to reread one day!

1. Scarlet by Marissa Meyer

Hello, this is actually a blog dedicated to The Lunar Chronicles. I have reread Cinder and Cress (twice…) but not Scarlet or Winter or any of the others involved in the series. So, I really want to read Scarlet again because it’s been AGES since I read it!!

2. Illuminae Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff

YAY Illuminae!! I convinced my sister and one of my friends to read this series, and they are talking to me about… but I remember nothing. NOTHING. Like both of them were talking about a major plot twist and I was just as surprised as they were because I had no idea that even happened. Thus, I will be rereading both books before Obsidio comes out on March 13!!

3. Delirium by Lauren Oliver

This is also something I read many years ago, and I would love to go back and enjoy it again. Oliver’s writing was so lovely and the concept was unique. Hopefully I can get around to it soon!

4. Legend by Marie Lu

This trilogy TORE ME APART. Like, If you’ve read it you know what I’m talking about. I recently read the graphic novels, and it really made me want to go back and reread the actual story, since the graphic novels lack the emotion and writing brought in by Marie Lu.

5. We Were Liars by E. Lockhart

I also convinced my friend to read this book, and she predicted what would happen about 50 pages in. Honestly, I was shocked by the events of the story. I would love to reread it and see if I can find the hints! (I’m not saying a lot because you need to go in knowing NOTHING!)

6. Percy Jackson by Rick Riordan

This is one of my childhood, middle school-ish favorites. I know I could read them quickly, and I was always a bit confused by the Greek Mythology aspects, so maybe I would understand them more!

7. A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray

I kind of forgot about this series until I was scrolling through Goodreads the other day. I feel like it is kind of underappreciated. I just really enjoyed it, and I would love to go back and enjoy it for a second time!

8. Wires & Nerve Vol. 1 by Marissa Meyer

I got Vol. 2 from the library a few days ago and it is HUGE!! I’m suuppperrr excited to read it, but considering I have no idea what happened in Vol. 1, I am going to go back and reread before continuing.

9. Nimona by Noelle Stevenson

This is one of the first graphic novels I read, and I instantly fell in love with the characters. It was a cute, fun read that is easy to get through. If you’re looking for a good graphic novel, I would highly recommend this one!

10. The Sun is Also a Star by Nicola Yoon

This book was amazing and a super fast read. It takes place in one day, so you can get through it quickly while having all the greatness of something that takes place over several days! I loved the relationship that formed between Natasha and Daniel and the adventures they had together!

Do you frequently reread books? Are there certain books you always reread? Link me to your TTT’s!

  1. I reread the Lunar chronicles this past summer and I’m looking forward to do it again. Now that the series is fully complete with all the graphic novels, I’m planning a big reread this summer!! AND I want to reread the Legend trilogy but I am still suffering from the first time I read it! (But I really want to!) Great list!
