Happy Tuesday everyone, and welcome back to another Top Ten Tuesday post hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl! This week’s prompt is all about the best books we’ve read so far in 2018, and I’m quite excited for this one. I’ve had a really awesome reading year so far, and I have lots of amazing books to share with you! (Although, I’m in a bit of a slump at the moment, but I’m hoping it’s nearly over!) So, read on to see what wonderful books have crossed my path this year!

1. Geekerella by Ashley Poston
I’m a sucker for Cinderella retellings, and this one was super cute! I loved Elle and Darien and all the characters, and I really enjoyed the modern twist on Cinderella! I would highly recommend this one to anyone who loves a modern romance with a bit of fairytale flair.
2. Wonder by R.J. Palacio
I was inspired to read this book after watching the movie, and I really enjoyed it! The book is definitely more a middle grade story, but I loved kind of “going back” to the days where I was in elementary and middle school. The story involved some important topics regarding friendship, family, and inclusion which were portrayed very nicely for readers of any age.
3. Zero Repeat Forever by G.S. Prendergast
Now, this was not the absolute best book I have read, but it had a plethora of redeeming elements. Especially after thinking about it for quite some time, I really appreciate all the creativity that went into this book. There are interesting characters and many cool fantasy and sci-fi elements. And, I haven’t seen a lot of this book around the blogging world, so I definitely want to give it some love! Check out my review!

4. Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
One of my friends introduced me to this book several years ago, and I was kind of “eh” about it. I continued to put it aside thinking I would read it later. I was inspired to read the series when I found out a fourth book was being released, and thus my love for Juliette and all the Shatter Me crew had begun. I could only speak praise for this series and I ADORE all the characters and Mafi’s writing style! If you are considering reading this series, DO IT!! Check out my series review!
5. Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi
6. Ignite Me by Tahereh Mafi
7. Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi
Yeah, yeah I’m kind of cheating. But I loved this series soooo much!!!

8. Now a Major Motion Picture by Cori McCarthy
I totally adored all the cute romance and appreciation for fandoms in this book! I loved all the characters and their value of friendship and family. If you are looking for a good contemporary, definitely give this one a try!
9. Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell
Again, I love the contemporary romance in this story! (This must be the year for romance!) And I enjoyed reading about Cath’s first year in college, as I will be going to college this fall.
10. Wires & Nerve Vol. 2: Gone Rogue by Marissa Meyer
First of all, I will read anything and everything that Marissa Meyer writes, especially if it is a part of the Lunar Chronicles universe. I loved being back with Iko and the gang, and I though this book provided a nice conclusion to the story. I am quite sad that it is over, though, but I guess I will just have to reread!
How on earth did I forget Fangirl?! Ugh! You have an amazing list!! I love most of those books!

I haven’t read any of the books featured in your post. But the covers look cool!!
I selected the freebie topic and chose the top ten book festivals I’d love to attend here in the USA. Here’s a link to my TTT post for this week: https://captivatedreader.blogspot.com/2018/07/top-ten-tueday-ttt-throwback-freebie.html?showComment=1531236356028#c2173527157270187754
