WWW Wednesday: July 18

WWW

Hello, and happy Wednesday! It’s time for another WWW Wednesday post, hosted by Sam at Taking on a World of Words. I’m still kind of behind on my reading for the summer, but I’m getting caught up! I have lots of great books to talk about today, so without further ado, I will answer these questions:

What are you currently reading?

What did you recently finish reading?

What do you think you’ll read next?

What am I currently reading?

Unite Me by Tahereh Mafi:

This is a little book of novellas that go along with the Shatter Me series. I have finished the first novella, Destroy Me, and am on to the second one, Fracture Me. I really like these little stories so far, as they give you perspectives that weren’t in the main books!!

P.S. I Still Love You by Jenny Han:

It’s been nearly a year since I read To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, but I’m loving this second book! It’s just so cute and light and fun and the characters are AMAZING!!! If you have not yet read this series, do it! It’s quite relaxing and fun to read!

What did I recently finish reading?

From Twinkle, With Love by Sandhya Menon:

I was a HUGE fan of When Dimple Met Rishi, so I had pretty high expectations for this book. Unfortunately, they weren’t all met, though I still quite enjoyed the story! It is still super adorable and fun, I just had my expectations a little too high.

Shadow Call by Adrianne Strickland & Michael Miller:

I LOVED the first book, Shadow Run, and I was excited for this next one, but it was not nearly as good in my opinion. The characters were kind of flat and everything just kind of dragged on. Though, I did really enjoy the action scenes, and sometimes the characters proved to be changing and learning and evolving!

Reality Gold by Tiffany Brooks:

I received a review copy of this book, thinking, “eh, it’s not really my kind of story.” BUT, I turned out to be greatly mistaken because I really, really liked this book! There was a dynamic group of characters and some wonderful elements of action, adventure, and mystery through a teen reality TV show and hidden treasure! Check out my review!

What will I read next?

Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han:

I’m quite excited to finish this series, though I will miss Lara Jean, her sisters, and her friends! I can’t wait to see what happens in this final book!

Allegiant by Veronica Roth:

Yeah, yeah I still haven’t read this one. I really want to, I just haven’t gotten around to it yet. I even have Four to read after this one!

What have you been reading lately? Link me to your WWW posts!

    • One of my friends spoiled it basically the day Allegiant came out, but I was interested to see what all the hype had been about! It’s still pretty good, but I think I would have enjoyed it more had I read it s few years ago when I was still in school.
