Hello, everyone! I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, but I have started college and am still trying to get settled into things. I don’t usually write posts about life and such, but today I just wanted to let everyone know that I still exist and will try to post whenever I have the time!
Life Things
As I mentioned, I started college a few weeks ago, and there have been a lot of changes that take some getting used to. Dorm life is interesting, and being away from my family has been a little hard at times. I also am in a super rigorous program, so I have tons of homework and projects and things to work on that tend to take up all of my time. I was thinking about it the other day, and basically all I ever do now is eat, sleep, and do schoolwork! (Although it’s not that much different from how I spent my time in high school…)
All that said, I’m really enjoying it! I love the program I’m in, and I’m glad to finally be taking classes and doing things that will actually be applicable to my life in the future. Although, I do miss having time to read. I have maybe read 100 pages since school started. 😦 I did not do nearly as much reading over the summer as I would have liked, so I feel kind of behind on my goals and mental reading lists, but hopefully once I get settled into a schedule I’ll have a little more time for reading!
Book & Blogging Things
I am currently reading Ready Player One by Ernest Cline and the ARC of The Raging Ones by Krista Ritchie. I am enjoying both, I just don’t have the time to read like I used to. However, I DO plan on reviewing The Raging Ones eventually, I just don’t know when that will be. I also would like to maybe do a few Top Ten Tuesday posts here and there, because I really like some of the upcoming topics!
As the post title suggested, I am kind of going on hiatus for the semester. I have missed reading and blogging, but school has to come first. I certainly will try to post if I have time, and I will do my best to comment on other posts and interact with fellow bloggers.
